Lacey ~ Owner
Fierce, Powerful, Confident, Unstoppable are just a few words to describe the way my Guests feel leaving each and every visit.
I am an Internationally educated artist, trained globally with 15+yrs experience. I pride myself on the art of consultation.
Without clear communication there is no foundation to guide you through your vision.
I have been an educator for one of the largest colour brands in the world as well as teaching private Barbering.
My cutting/ colouring techniques provide a strong structure with the softness and sophistication that you desire. Allowing your style to be as classic or as bold as you choose. Being a hybrid stylist has given me the opportunity to offer so much to my Guests. I specialize in “HAIR” period.
I am a very balanced artist focusing equally on both cutting & colouring as I feel it is important for me to see my vision through to the end. With saying that, I also have a very specialized skill set, offering the art of old world luxury “Barbering” the straight blade.
A well groomed Beards is as essential to a man as a Little black dress is to a woman.
Ladies don’t worry I have something special for you as well; Trained with my masters certification in several Top " Extensions” brands offering you 5 different methods of expertise creating the hair you never thought you could have. Length is what most people think of for extensions but that is very one dimensional and just a small piece of the puzzle.
“Extensions are for everyone”, and I would love to have that conversation with you.
I am extremely proud of our space we have created with the intension of an oasis minutes from town. The magic that is felt within the barn is only explained through the experience of your visit.

Megan ~ Front line coordinator
Meg is the first smile you see upon entering our country oasis. Making sure your experience at "miller+mane" is seamless, welcoming, and just a little extra special.
As the front face at the salon, Meg thrives on keeping things running smoothly whether it’s helping you book the perfect appointment or just offering a warm welcome and a great conversation.
*Working at "miller+mane" truly feels like being part of a sisterhood, one I never knew I truly needed. I’m lucky to be surrounded by a team of insanely talented women who pour their hearts into what they do and I love being the one who gets to connect it all together.
Outside the salon, Meg is all about the little moments with the ones she loves. Spending most of her time with her husband "Jonathan" and their two pups, "Ruger & Lucy". One of their favorite routines is hopping in the car for a morning drive to grab coffee with their beautiful dogs, always along for the ride of course. Whether it’s a relaxing weekend with family and friends or a cozy night in with their fur babies, that’s where Meg's heart is happiest.

Tara
We would like to introduce you to one of our locally grown & raised Craft Artists Tara (aka)“Tara-bear” Campbell.
Her down to earth nature, accompanied by her willingness to go above and beyond regardless as to what it takes will have you booking a standing visit for years to come.
Tara's undivided attention will be placed on creating “the expression of personality thru hair” and building a strong connection with her Guests time after time.

Annika
Annika is an enthusiastic hairstyling apprentice who has recently completed her formal education at Algonquin College in Ottawa in 2024.
Graduating within "miller+mane" professional's extensive training program, Annika is now taking Guests of her own while operating as a Protege under Lacey our owner/ artist.
Annika is honoured to have received such extensive post college education with "miller+mane" professional. Born and raised in the Ottawa Valley, we are thrilled that this crazy talented artist has chosen to call home with us here at our country oasis. Annika continues to present the highest of standards that our industry can offer our Guests. An experience and that has them leaving thrilled and excited to return.
Annika has a nickname around the salon, know as "the Blowout Queen". Her custom colour skills have far exceeded her years in the industry and continues to impress her Guests and team alike.

Kayla ~ OFF ON MATERNITY LEAVE

Kayla's favourite thing is making her guests feel more confident, beautiful and like they can accomplish anything they set their mind to because it’s A LOT more than “just hair”! She strives on great communication to be able to help you create your vision.
With over 10 years under her belt and completing her training at Versailles Academy she worked and trained in Ottawa for 5 years of her career. Kayla was very fortunate to have the opportunity to be trained by some of the best in this industry and also work backstage at the 2017 Juno Awards. All of the experiences she has had along the way has shaped her into the stylist she is today. Kayla has a very strong knowledge of advanced cutting and colouring techniques. She doesn't just specialize in one thing. It is important to Kayla to have an all around skill set in her tool belt. Kayla works very hard to be the best she can be and that means never stop learning. She is continuously attending classes and educational events to stay on trend with the latest styles to bring back to you.
